A storm door attaches over your existing door. So the next time you need to fix the lock or paint the door, that piece of very attractive plywood can stay in the garage. How about when someone wants to solicit your time or money. The Storm Door is an extra see through barrier between you and whoever walks up to your porch. So when you open the door, you’re not committed. Second are the locking features. The standard lock set is a black (hides dirt) handle with dead bolt. Third is the pneumatic closure (air, NOT oil) that closes the door behind you or mostly, your kids. The fourth and most used feature of a Storm Door is the sealing effect of the door. The door doesn't have an air tight seal. But in a driving rain that blows water under and over your existing doors threshold, the door acts as a windbreak. This also is a fix for doors that leak air or the door jams that are out of square. Any storm door will work better than any weather stripping you attach to the door frame.

Above is a view of the FULL VIEW style storm door. The white door has a poured concrete curb (included in installation). The bronze door has a metal curb (also included). The almond door has a brick curb that the door can fit on, this was installed when the house was bricked and we do not do this curb. See a brick mason before we install the door. The swing of the door depends on where the wall is located or how your existing door opens. The bronze and almond door has a wall to swing to. The white door can swing either way if there isn't a wall on each side. If you have an enclosed porch with walls on both sides, we can swing the door either way.

The white and almond doors above are the Operator style. When selecting an operator storm door, look to see if the screen frame can be removed (ours can) or if you have to remove the door to repair the screen. The bottom glass panel can be made with a metal plate instead of glass. That may make the door look cheap and you won't be able to see dirty feet. The far right picture is our standard lock. If you have brass fixtures you want to match, we offer an upgrade to brass for $45.00.

The Don Young Storm door installation (door and labor) is $445.00 each.

French Door Styled (paired) includes both sides and extra hardware $900.00.

Standard Black Afton lock is included, upgrade to brass is $45.00(if you order more than one door and want the locks keyed alike, there is a $3.00 charge per cylinder).

Door size includes 36,32,30 x 80 only. Oversized or special sized doors will need to be quoted.

A service person will need to see the door location before we install, so we can make sure we have all of the supplies on site for completion (concrete curbs take one day to cure, we will have to return the following day to remove the form and install the sweep).
